Big Three Implode

Welcome to Big Three Implode

We all know the world business climate is faced with challenging economic times today and the experts all warn of more to come. The daily headlines are filled with bailout news for the bankers, insurance companies, Wall Street and homeowners faced with foreclosure. The oil sheiks, real estate developers and The Big Three Auto companies are all facing a tough road ahead to climb back up to the multi-billion dollar profits they made in previous years.

While the economy was great, gas was cheap and the credit markets had money to loan, automakers were able to stockpile cash and afford UAW labor cost and benefits. Now, with gas prices fluctuating, the economy sinking fast and auto loans hard to come by, car buyers are no where to be found. All of the Big Three Car Companies and even the foreign car automakers are warning that their cash stockpiles are running dry and bankruptcy is possible.

The mission for Big Three Implode is to help us keep track of the various car company financial problems and government bail out programs. We hope to keep our readers informed on all the latest news effecting the auto companies, their employees, auto dealerships, UAW workers, suppliers and the customers.
